Sandy went on a retreat in college, and found this beautiful ceremony site. It’s very appropriately named “Pretty Place”, in the South Carolina mountains. She hoped she would one day marry the man of her dreams there, and twenty plus years later, that’s exactly what she did!

The day started at Pretty Place Chapel in Greenville, South Carolina. It is a testimony to how loved they are, that friends and family who were willing to drive over an hour, and sit outside in freezing cold temperatures just to hear them say their I do’s! Once the ceremony ended, we all caravanned to the nearest big town with a reception venue, Asheville, North Carolina! There were lots of toasts, many filled with tears of joy, as their loved ones expressed how happy they were that after many years of faithfully waiting, Al and Sandy had found one another! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!

Sandy & Al- It was a joy getting to know you both better! I am so glad, our paths crossed at Lisa’s wedding, and that I got to have front row seat to document your special day! I hope the pictures will forever remind you of all the love and joy you felt on your wedding day! All the best, Bre

Camille and Paul had their heart set on doing an engagement session at Montaluce winery in North Georgia. It is one of my favorite spots to shoot, so I was excited to have an excuse to go back and visit. Montaluce is a popular venue for weddings and events this time of year, so going at the golden hour, just before sunset wasn’t an option. But we didn’t let bright sun, or the colder temps stop us from having fun and getting great pictures for them! Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Camille & Paul- Can’t wait for your wedding at the Tate House in Fall of 2020! The next year will fly by, so enjoy eevery minute of your engagement! See you soon, Bre

With the wedding just around the corner, we snuck in a quick engagement session before their big day! Debbie and Ian, fell in love with the look of the Candler hotel, so when I mentioned I was doing another shoot there, they were game for coming by and getting in some photos at this beautiful new hotel! With it being so cool outside last Saturday, being indoors and grabbing a good drink at “By George” was the perfect alternative to an outdoor engagement session in the park!

Debbie and Ian- Can’t wait to celebrate your big day with you and your family next month! Enjoy the last few weeks of dating before you are officially husband and wife. All the best- Bre

Courtney is a very laid back bride. When she got to the Piedmont Garden Tent her dress was all balled up in her arms, and she was carrying the flip flops she planned to wear for the ceremony. Within minutes she was dressed and ready for photos, and it wasn’t long before the flips flops got ditched, and she ended up barefoot. The thing that was clear was, her priority was on marrying Brian, and the rest of it, well, it would all fall into place. And thanks to her very helpful bridesmaids and some family members working on the set up, everything looked amazing, and we even somehow ended up ahead of schedule!

The ceremony was performed by her maid of honor, Devon, so it was full of personal stories from over the course of their relationship. One that stood out to me was when they talked about how hard Monday’s were, because after a entire weekend of being together, it felt like a long time to be a part! These two are clearly head over heels for each other, and it was obvious by the number of kisses being stolen throughout the ceremony, that they are inseparable! And with Brian comes three beautiful kids, who were included in the vows as they joined not just two lives, but all five together as one family.

Thankfully the rain in Atlanta held out, and we got to go into Piedmont Park to get some photos before heading into to the reception. Brian’s friend has a band called “The Geeks”, who kept everyone on the dance floor, and had us all rocking matching glasses by the end of the night. The rain did eventually come, which meant no sparkler exit, but these two already had some serious sparks flying between them, so who needs actual flames! Here are some of my favorite images from their wedding day.

Courtney & Brian- It was great getting to celebrate with you! Thanks for making me feel like a welcomed friend, and allowing me into your inner circle for the day. I wish you guys a lifetime of long weekends together, and plenty of stolen kisses! -Bre

It’s always fun to do an engagement session in a new location, so when Jacey and J threw out the idea of going to Stone Mountain Park, I was excited. It took a little adventuring to find our way around, but these two were great sports, as we explored all the beautiful backdrops the park had to offer. Believe it or not they were already getting set up for Snow Mountain (crazy since it’s only Sept and still 90 desires out), so we had limited areas on the lawn we could shoot. We did find some great spots, the last of which had a sandy beach front feel which was perfect, since J proposed to Jacey on a beach! Here is a peek at some of my favorite images from our time together on Monday night!

Jacey & J- Can’t wait for your wedding in February! It will be here before we know it. See you you soon in TN! All the best, Bre
