Lisa & Ray’s 550 Trackside Wedding

July 22, 2019

“Always and forever, each moment with you
Is just like a dream to me that somehow came true
And I know tomorrow will still be the same ‘Cause we’ve got a life of love that won’t ever change…”

These lyrics are from “Always and Forever”, have probably been played at countless weddings over the years, but for Lisa and Ray this song holds extra special meaning. Lisa’s dad, Keith Wilder and his brother Johnnie Wilder, were the lead singers of the band Heatwave, and it’s their vocals you hear when this classic love song is played. Keith passed away last year, and while his presence was sorely missed, I know he was there in spirit, and watching over as his daughter Tami, beautifully serenaded the couple as they said their “I do’s”. While there were a few emotional moments, there was also plenty of laughter, and lots of fun! This group knows how to have a good time, and they came (some of them all the way from England) ready to celebrate!

The wedding took place at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville, and made for a stunning backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Despite pulling together this wedding in record time, everything went off without a hitch! You would never know that it was planned in under a month, YES, you heard that right! You can tell how loved these two are by the way all of their friends and family jumped in, to make sure the wedding was everything these two had dreamt about, and more! Here is a quick peek at some of my favorite images from the day!

Lisa & Ray- I am so happy for you guys, and grateful to call you both friends! I am in awe of how you pulled off such an amazing day, in record time, and I am so glad I got to be there to not only photograph, but also to enjoy it enjoy it with you! Love, Bre
