I have known Mia and her family for many years. When we first met she was just a tween, and her mom, Gina, was doing my daughter’s newborn photos. It’s pretty cool that all these years later, I got to document Gina’s baby girl, as she gets ready to marry the love of her life! While I only recently met Will, it was clear to me, in just the little bit of time we spent together taking pictures, that he not only adores Mia, but that he brings out the best in each other. Together these two were full of so much joy, laughter, and love! I can’t wait to see all the future holds for these two, as they start this next stage of their lives as husband and wife!
Our initial plan was to head to Cane Creek Falls for their engagement session, but it turns out that the falls are closed off to the public for the summer! So I ended up taking them to this little spot in Dahlonega instead. I have passed by this location many times on my way up to my mom’s place in Blairsville, and have always thought it had such a pretty view. It ended up being the perfect plan b location for our shoot, and added a little extra adventure to the afternoon! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!
